TT didn’t even dress up this year.  However, he did go to a couple houses trick or treating and told them he was a cool sexy guy from the future.  Ari went for the Super Girl look and Sierra is a pretty scary prom queen – I heard she made some little kids cry.

I joined in on the Halloween festivities as a super clueless frazzled mom that put on two different shoes and didn’t notice until she got to the gym. 

Last year we had to chop down a ginormous beautiful pine tree in the backyard because it was touching the house and creating a fire hazard.  In its place I put in a small garden box. At the beginning of this past summer, I planted it and was super excited that my little garden plot actually started to grow, I tend not to be a green thumb. I planted kale, green onion, spinach, chard, cilantro, basil and cherry tomatoes.  

Guess what..I do have a green thumb! My kale, basil and tomatoes completely exploded. the only thing that didn’t make it was my spinach, I guess it was too hot.

Every morning I would go out and pick kale and chard and make a smoothie for me and B. It felt like I had a never ending supply.  I swear I could taste the sunshine and pure nutrition.  It was my favorite meal of the day and picking it never got old. Last week it snowed and pretty much ended my tradition until next year.  It was a sad day. Look at those beautiful greens.

And finally meet our newest member of the Taylor family. We named her Halle. She looks like a baby polar bear, so Halle Bear seemed pretty natural.  She’s a Great Pyrenees-husky-german shepherd mix, so will be very big. She’s mostly pretty mellow and is already showing us how smart she is.  Saying that the twins love this new little puppy is an understatement. She is unbelievably cute right now.
