We returned from California on Monday, B had to leave for a business trip on Tuesday and the twins birthday was Wednesday.  It’s an odd year so thank heavens I didn’t have a party to worry about.  After school, they each took a friend to Airborne (a big warehouse full of trampolines) and then we went to eat at Sonny Brian’s (D’s favorite bbq joint), then on to pick out a treat at the new french bakery in town.  I didn’t bake a cake either.  TT had football practice since his team was in the championship.  He’d missed the playoff game being in CA and they decided as a team to dedicate the game to TT.  He had another amazing football season.  That’s for another post.  Ari had dance class so we took cookies for both of their practices.  It was a pretty low maintenance birthday this year.  I was grateful.

We have a tradition of playing the Happy Birthday song from the 80’s band Altered Images very loudly throughout the house  and we decided to have a little dance party. I am sure B is sorry he missed that one.
