Aub arrived on Tuesday and we went out to eat at Cheesecake factory.  Lelu is a big fan of whipped cream and so we all donated our overabundance of whip cream to her and challenged her to eat it for all the money in my wallet.

She didn’t quite finish but she came very close and left richer and sicker.

Master D arrived on Wednesday.  The kids all saw a few movies that B and I bailed on.  I think it was the Grinch and Wreck it Ralph after 9 pm at night.  We are officially too old and tired to see both animated movies and movies after 9 pm in the winter. I am thankful they enjoy being together and seeing dumb movies.

We were in UT this year and sadly there was no skiing on Thanksgiving.  Brighton had opened, we don’t have passes up there and it was raining and snowing a little.  We are fair weather skiers so we did not venture out. Thank heavens, this year there’s been plenty of snow since and TT has been enjoying it every weekend.  We had a quiet little gathering and the food was delicious and we had some fun playing gamesLandon brought his girlfriend Pamela along.  I promise I was there.  I’m almost always there, just rarely photographed…like Bigfoot and the Lochness momster.  In the photo above, that is a bead ostrich I bought TT in Africa that Master D and Ari are trying to pass off as a turkey..

Honestly, I’m just trying to get caught up so I can send this off to be printed. I fully intended on writing out a gratitude list but my mood is making me very cynical and I can’t seem to conjure up authenticity for the task.  Hopefully after the wedding, Christmas and New Years I can pull off the task for my New Year’s post.
