I’m catching up for five months of activities, thus I may not remember all of the details. My blog went through a lot of issues…Again.

December flew by and I’m not really sure how I was able to get everything done. I have photos of some of the stuff I got done. Weddings are done so differently than when I got married, but then again, I don’t think I paid that much attention to the many choices. Good thing Lelu had been planning her wedding since she knew about weddings. She knew exactly what she wanted and I was basically just along for the ride. I had few opinions and didn’t have to execute my veto power. Apparently, now they take all of the bridal photos before the actual day. They also do this video called First Look, where you go out to Antelope Island, freeze to death, try to keep the dress from getting dirty by following the bride around and carrying the back of the dress and changing into and out of their clothes in a gross bathroom with a towel on the ground to protect the dress. What you get out of this adventure is a super cute minute and a half video put to music – Jake seeing Lelu in her dress – a few weeks before the actual wedding. Lelu didn’t appreciate my attitude about it. But I’ll admit It turned out beautiful.

Especially in the last year – I stop what I’m doing and take in the beauty and awe of our world. Dec 18 (I know this is out of of date order but I like ending the post with the sunset as a metaphor)
