12/2/12 Lelu doesn’t look like a little girl anymore, she looks too grown up. Cherie couldn’t make it this year so my friend Cami came along. She has 4 boys but really wanted to go, so she took Cherie’s coveted spot tagging along with us. It such a fun girly tradition!
It was unseasonably warm so we headed up to City Creek to eat dinner and the girl’s had fun re-enacting the Nutcracker for the other shoppers.
While we were enjoying the dancing, the boys were off watching Skyfall for the second time and eating Smash Burger! Good testosterone building activities.
12/13/12 Ari started dance at the same place Aub and Lelu danced years ago. B has great memories of the 3 hour recitals! And guess what? Since I registered her after I already planned my trip, I missed the recital. I was genuinely sad, but grateful to Kari & Lelu for getting her ready. B said he actually really enjoyed this one since she danced 3 times and it only last 1.5 hours. This was her ballet outfit.
This is her jazz costume. She says Jazz is her least favorite, ballet is first and hip hop second. I am very happy that ballet trumps hip hop….she already has enough attitude built in.
She’s a natural for hip hop. If I can stand the music it’s fun to watch.
I love it! I miss my girl’s dance concerts! Let me know when the next one is, I would love to go. We went to Lexi’s dance concert on Friday. (Ben’s daughter…so much of Debbie in her)

What great memories you are recording! I miss not being able to be at Ari’s dance recitals. I bet they are fun, fun because of her energy and “attitude”. Hardly recognized Ayden. She is becoming a beauty!
