Surgeries

I’ve been trying to figure out how I’m going to post about B’s big surgeries, the back and forth, walks together, a special visit from Michelle T and follow up appointments to turn ‘him on’.  For once I am truly speechless.  So much to say, so little motivation to say it.  So instead I made a slideshow with most of the photos I took while out there and a couple that Master D took. He took a lot more photos and some video if you ever want to see.  One thing about Palo Alto, they really are blessed with their ability to grow amazing flowers and these flowers seemed to not only call out to me but demand my immediate attention.  There’s a blessing in that distraction.

  1. Beautiful! I’m positive that there is no coincidence that they grow beautiful, LIVING, flowers for all to take in during times like these.
    We love you both!
    Blessings on you!

  2. Dear Barton, Kristin and family,

It is satisfying and delightful to observe in Kristin’s blogs her attention to emphasizing beauty above challenge, gratitude above worry, and a willingness to share the pictures of Barton’s progress and reliance on avant-garde technology without complaint or alerting anyone as to how dangerous these treatments might be.

You have all been present in our fasting and prayers, throughout this ordeal and we continue to pay attention as full recovery and gratifying success seem to be the outcome all have been hoping and praying for.

We love you and thank you for sharing. Denis and Clare

  3. Kristin and Barton, I am speechless and in tears! Denis said it better than I ever could. There is always something beautiful in nature no matter what’s going on in your life. God is merciful, kind and loving.
You are brave and beautiful .
    Love you bunches,
    Mom
