June 7th to the 12th
Aub and Master D made plans coincidentally right after the pups were born to come out to UT for the weekend before my birthday – under the guise of “coming for my birthday.” Hey I’m not complaining, nor do I blame them at all! These are some unbelievable cute puppies and we had a great time that weekend!! No one wanted to do much other than play with these little cuties. We did take time out to go see “Dark Phoenix” – and we all agree playing with puppies is so much better!
On Sunday, these beauties were delivered! I could get used to having flowers like this around at all times. Thank heavens for Mother’s Day, my birthday and our anniversary. May and June are full of flowers. If I did have them around all the time, I wonder if I’d take them for granted?

Lelu cleaned up the house and decorated perfectly, while I sat on the front lawn and played with the puppies. Sagan and Nate brought Janie up to see them. She was slightly more interested in our stairs and Ari taking her up and down them. Two year olds are the best! Lelu was somewhat annoyed with all of us. She wanted me to leave and come home to a surprise, but honestly I enjoyed the day so much that I can’t even imagine it being better than it was.

I’m not sure where Rajah is in this photo. Aub is holding Archie, I’m holding Cinco and Coco and Master D is holding Goldiesox. We tried to get crowns on them all but it was ridiculously difficult.

Lelu hired a private chef to come and prepare us a real dinner party menu of salmon, garlic knots, risotto and mint choc chip cookie ice cream sandwiches. All of it incredibly delicious! But for me what made it perfection was having my whole family together to celebrate and the conversation around each other’s favorite and enviable traits.

And then on the actual day, I took the day off from work and Ari sneakily brought me to Grand America for High tea with some of my favorite girls!

My birthday this year was quite different from last year. So much more luxurious, bonding and pampering which thankfully reduces the sting of entering my fifties.
Also my birthday I believe was when the puppies reached maximum cuteness
