Aub came out to SLC with Archie for her birthday and the puppies birthdays. We had her favorite Mexican food dinner. And I made her a picnic cake. I did not order the candles from Amazon or China – I bought them at Zurchers and didn’t notice the spelling issues. Why would I assume to check them?

1. Archie is her one true love 😉

2. Newest home owner to the cutest lil Portland home 

3. Gatorade zero and Yerba Mate are her current favorite drinks of choice

4. Polynesian sauce for her nuggets and chick Fil a sauce for her fries

5. She has excellent taste in music

6. She drives a very stylish navy blue Mini Cooper called Stella that Mark Wahlburg and Charlize Theron would be jealous of.

7. She excels in her field of work

8. She is the only one who can do her work at her job currently.

9. She’s an excellent iPhone photographer

10. She has extremely cute phone cases

11. She loves getting her nails done

12. She has lush beautiful extremely thick curly and healthy hair and knows how to keep care of it.

13. She loves Lush products

14. She’s very thoughtful at gift giving (so generous that each of her siblings are excited when she has them for Christmas – even though she buys something for each one of them anyway)

15. She is amazing at proofreading all of our papers.

16. She loves Portland.

17. She loves Chick Fil a and Costa Vida (they don’t have them in Portland)

18. She loves the colors green and yellow

19. She puts a lot of thought into decorating and taking care of her new home.

20. She’s super funny.

21. She meditates EVERY morning outdoors while Archie plays.

22. She takes Archie on walks every night.

23. She is constantly improving herself in life and work.

24. She enjoys soap opera-esque shows that she doesn’t have to pay as much attention to follow. 

25. She placed three of the five Halle puppies in incredibly loving homes. (we are very grateful)

26. She knows something about more subjects than any person I know

27. She plans a great time and awesome restaurants and things to do while visiting her.

28. She Is a good cook and really likes breakfast.

29. She doesn’t really like sugar or sugary snacks.

30. She loves when Archie goes to daycare.

31. She loves comedy clubs, comedy podcasts and traveling to see them filmed or interviewed.

32. She Is very good at managing her finances.

2015:

“It’s hard to say where I see myself in five years, because I’ve changed and progressed both emotionally and physically a whole heck of a lot in the last five and don’t really have a strong vision for my career yet.  I do see myself hopefully at peace with being in my 30s (a terrifying thought), and at peace with myself. I see myself sharing my life with someone that laughs at my jokes and makes me laugh, and that loves me when I’m down, and that encourages me to work hard and make my life the best and fullest it can be. I see myself traveling and laughing and eating a lot of great food with great friends“

2020:

In 5 years, I see myself going into businesses or spending time in crowds without constant fear of contagion. Lingering, touching surfaces, carelessly touching my face. I have my own horse, a beloved partner who brought his own dog into the family, and an engaging and meaningful software engineering job that makes me lots of money.
