I had a great birthday this year. Dave, Michelle and the boys got here for Kalee’s wedding on my birthday and were here for Father’s Day too.  That was a fun weekend.

1.What do you like to dream about?

Talking to Chris Martin about his song lyrics and giving him new ideas because we are friends. 

2. What is your best memory this year?

Dhane coming home!!!! 

3. Who is your hero? Why?

B.  He has every quality of a hero – brave, smart, strong, leader, empathic, charitable, selfless and he loves me.

4.How would you describe your family?

Individually unique, active, funny, adventurous, normally imperfect and when the going gets tough – loves each other.

5.If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I would love a high metabolism

6.What are you most proud of yourself for?

Sticking with and constantly working to improve myself and my family.

7. Who is the kindest person you know?

Michelle Taylor – she amazes and inspires me.

8. Who is your best friend? What do you like most about your best friend?

I choose not to declare a ‘best friend’ because there can be moments, conversations, and connections with every one of my friends I am blessed to have and in that moment, that person is my best friend. I love that about all of them.

9. What is the one thing you would like to learn to do well?

Stay present

10. If you were an animal, what one would you be and why?

I don’t like animals so this is a hard one.  I think… a lion – I already have a pretty good mane, a loud roar and being at the top of the food chain seems like a good idea. 

11. When is the last time someone hurt your feelings? How did you react?  (this one is optional)

Last fall – I went home and bawled my eyes out, talked to B and cried some more. Then I prayed hard to forgive.

12. What is the scariest thing that happened this year?

Last fall when I got really sick and kept having to go to the ER.  Not knowing what the heck was wrong with me was scary.

13. If you could keep only one thing, out of everything you have, what would it be?

B said “my family” but that is a given.  I don’t consider them a thing.

14. Who do you think is really successful, why?

B is very successful for many reasons but I think the most important is his integrity. He will NEVER cheat anyone and he believes you get back what you put out there and so he lives by the Golden Rule the best that he can in business and in his personal life. 

15. What three words best describe yourself?

Determined, adventurous and intuitive

16.What’s something that makes you angry?

Labeling a person based on their past – long since past – and seeing everything they do through that filter. 

17. What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?

This guy in our ward that B taught a primary class with came over to our house to talk to B. A few weeks later he told me that he felt a really good loving spirit in our home. He’s also really cool normal guy I respect.  I will never forget that compliment because that’s exactly what I strive for everyday.
