While Ari and I were away in Florida, TT went to his first girl’s choice dance with a cute girl named Kenna Healy. He just wanted to wear his too short khakis that he wears every week to church, but I convinced him to go get a decent looking suit. Finding a tie that both matched her dress and he was willing to wear was a challenge too. This poster was covered in Rolo’s
I told him to go to the flower shop and order a corsage showing them the photo of her dress she had sent to him. He called me in a panic and sent over this photo when he picked it up because it turned out so ugly
I told him to remove the dumb little orange berries and maybe take it back to put another little rose instead of the succulent but he didn’t have time, so he just took the berries off and then when they connected with the rest of their group, they all had succulents on their corsages too. I guess that’s the thing right now? – or at least at the Draper flower shop
I was so sad to miss the actual picking up but B was able to snap a few photos
This one being his favorite since the hair looks so cool!
Such a cute bunch of kids! Too bad TT’s eyes are closed. Ari was very sad to miss this dance.
Changing the subject to something random and this is as good a place to post it as any:
Remember when we used to pack up snacks, coloring books, little magnet paper dolls that stuck to the metal chairs to entertain the kids at church? The following photos are a few of the updated ways of entertaining themselves. I think Ari and I have the exact same hair color – hers is completely natural and my hairdresser is amazing at making mine look completely natural too!
We’ve got the same hair thing going on with Lelu and TT.

As always, fun to keep up with grandkids, and kids! Thanks!!!
Some things change – like the in types of corsages- and others stay the same – the fun, unique and energetic teens – amusing and confusing!! Love them!
I’m still a sucker for cute school dances! They all looked awesome!
