Thanksgiving 2014 had a lot of awesomeness and some not so awesomeness. The week leading up to it, I was slammed with homework and I got a cold that pretty much wiped out my voice. Master D very kindly mimicked me in a Christian Bale batman voice that was pretty right on. Needless to say, I was not feeling my best and I also had an essay exam over the weekend. That was the not so awesomeness. We were lucky enough to have Aub, Roma and Michelle come from out of town and J & C and boys too. B and Jeff took the kids snowboarding and came home to a warm yummy dinner. The theme of gratefulness with the kids centered on Chick-fil-a opening in Draper. Next year I think we’ll start with the adults! I am so grateful that I can spend time with the people I love most, eating delicious food even when and especially when I wasn’t feeling so well. Here’s some not so perfect photos all snapped on not so perfect phones by not so perfect photogs:
ready to ride!
Michelle and Christina were bonding over veggies (sooo good)
B expertly carves with Ari really hungry
The table is beautifully set and Aub is beautiful, but not impressed with me taking a photo.
Lelu and Ari are happy to be here!
A lot of bananagrams were played. We love bananagrams
Breakfast downtown before Aub and Michelle head to the airport. A lovely end to a lovely holiday and now I write my essays..

So glad you do this, and I can catch up on your life. I’m just sorry I can’t be everywhere with all of you, all the time – ( well, maybe not terribly sorry. I’d be worn out.)
