I love babies and miss being around them – ok so I didn’t just learn that in 2017, I just got reminded of that fact and realized that I am not in any phase of life that exposes me to babies very much. I’d like to be a Grandma and I’m okay with being old enough to be a grandma. We were lucky to go visit baby Georgia (I was getting a cold and loaded up on EmergenC and Zicam and made sure all my symptoms were gone) over New Years and it was my absolute favorite thing about the whole holiday season. Just look at that precious perfect sweet little baby.
I miss school. It was demanding and brain stretching and tedious but I definitely got a big payoff from feeling like I was learning something new all of the time and getting credit for all my hard work and dedication.
I’m not immune to the crafty clever little tricks the devil plays on me with bizarro parallel situations that all at once dismantle my relationships that mean the most to me – el diablo threw in enough similarities in the unimportant details that real wickedness washed out my long history of working with pure intentions, love, care, protection and support. And man does it hurt!
I know another language, it’s called TAZ-speak.
Prayer and Meditation are as necessary to life as food and water. Dehydration sucks
I still love all things Coldplay. Most days there’s nothing better than Chai in a Coldplay mug. These were belated christmas gifts from the kids and are part of my prepping. If the big bomb is headed our way, I’ll fill one of these with chai, turn on whichever album I’m drinking from and go outside and wait for it to hit.
I really like these Christmas wreaths and I want to find one to hang on my house
I really like mountain bike riding in AZ in the winter – it has perfect rolling hills and no major cliffs. The only exception would be going down a road directly underneath powerlines – as I learned that they emit electrons that conduct between sweaty thighs and hands that come in contact with metal and feel very much like a nasty mean and strategic bee stinging back and forth.
I like snow in the winter. As we have none this year. TT is personally offended that it snowed in Florida and the Saharan desert and not at the ski resorts in Utah, and I can’t really blame him.
I think I finally got my blog printed for 2017. I used a different platform. It’s called “blook”. So you can see the appeal, right? After I got it all uploaded and ordered I realized it was in France. I REALLY hope they show up. I’ve learned something new either way.
I’d sort of like to wipe out 2017 from my memory, but then I’d miss Master D and I’s graduations (more on his grad when he gets to walk and has his ceremony in April) and I’d be sad about that. It was definitely a roller coaster. We went up, straight down, turned upside down, twisted and got thrown around, vomited, had major vertigo and then went backwards into some kind of a black vortex – SO i’d really appreciate if 2018 was not Six Flags but maybe more like “it’s a small world”. I’m sending that out into the universe…. please(Quote Cred: Connie)

I love this so much! I would really like to go to lunch with you and catch up! 2017 was a blistering year for me too, and I’m glad it’s in the past. Except for those grandbabies of mine. I will keep them from 2017. I know you have a lot on your plate! Let me know if you want to do lunch..or dinner, or just chat.
Love you!
