The Haircuts

On May 19th, TT and his buddies went up to one of his friend’s cabin in Idaho.  When they left they were all handsome guys – as seen in the prom photos.  Late at night our family received this photo text:Not one of us zoomed in on it, as we just thought they were trying to look like the Lost Boys or something.  But nope, they’d decided to have a little barbershop party.  TT – the boy who loved his hair more than any boy I’d ever known, the boy who yelled, threatened, cried and complained when he got a “bad haircut” – that wasn’t all that bad and easy for me to fix – let his buddies take clippers to his head and he came home with this:
He and his buddies had also just seen Hall & Oates in concert and somehow thought it might be cool to cut a couple mullets, a couple bowl cuts and a mohawk.  He lasted one day at school (3 of the others didn’t even last a day) and then we had to fix it.  It took me a month to get used to his hair missing.  B was honestly pretty upset about it, and I was half laughing/half shocked that this is how his beautiful hair came to a sad end.  We all know it’ll grow back and are glad we have a lot of photos for maintaining the legend.
