On May 6th, TT and Kenna flew down to AZ for the cutest engagement – helped set up by Rel & Michele S and Paige taking the adorable and amazing photos. They drove the MG (I’m very sad there are not photos of them in the MG though) and then went to dinner at Nobu.

It was amost perfect; Kenna said YES!….. but poor TT got some sort of Montazuma’s revenge the day before. He claimed it could have been caused by: a. his too old leftovers he ate from Olive Garden b. drinking from a stream on a hike and/or c. from putting chemicals in the pool and he didn’t wash his hands…it was anyone’s guess but somehow he rallied and pulled it off.

It only took TWO YEARS! But it arrived before the baby girls! – On May 10th 2023

Lelu was scheduled for a c-section for Monday May 15th, since her Doctor was out of town for the week. On Friday May 12th, Dave came into town and we went down to visit Gma & Gpa and then to eat at Seven Brothers. Lelu called me and said she was having contractions and they were monitoring her at the hospital, so we drove back to Draper. I picked up B and went straight to the hospital. The Doctor on call decided she should stay and they’d deliver the babies after another C-section before her. About 7 pm they took her back to the operating room. At exactly the same time…..My phone rang and it was TT telling me he somehow he got peanuts and was on his way to the ER. I told him to come to Alta View Hospital. B went downstairs to meet him and Kenna. I waited by the nurses station while Elle and Reese were being delivered – It was a very intense hour as TT was covered in hives but, thank heavens, didn’t require an epipen. Elle Taylor was born first, then Reese McKinley – both were healthy, perfect beautiful lil babies and so is their mom.

The girls are each wearing one of Rel’s baby outfits that I kept. They are so tiny.

I flew down to Az to drive back with Rel, so that she could stay for awhile to help out with the girls and we totally lucked out that Dermot Kennedy was in concert the one night I was there!
