Where o where does the time go?  I don’t even know what day of the week it is most the time.  Saturday, May 20th poor Ari was at a cheer clinic and got elbowed in the mouth.  We were so very lucky/blessed that our neighbor who is a plastic surgeon was home that day!  He put ten stitches in there.  One of her front teeth was pushed back a little bit too, but wearing her retainer for a couple days restored her tooth and you can hardly see the scar above her lip.   The same day we had tickets to go to the lantern festival out in Grantsville.  If I tell the social media perspective – it was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. to watch all of those lanterns fill the sky while blasting  “A Sky Full of Stars”!!  The awe lasted 10 minutes max….The real story is that the traffic to get there was INSANE.  We were sitting hardly moving at one point and actually watched a plane take off and get to a height that the skydivers jumped out and we saw them all landing.  Our impatience got the best of us and me, Lelu and Ari got out and started walking.  Lelu had gone running earlier in the day wearing shoes that I gave her because I thought they were giving me shin splints…duh!!! ….she came home limping with a hurt foot.  But we thought it was a good idea to walk the last three miles with her leaning on me and Ari, only to have B catch up to us just as we were getting to the entrance.  Then there were about 20,000 people jammed into this race track surrounded by barbed wire fence sitting around campfires roasting s’mores.  It was actually quite apocalyptic feeling.  When it came time to light the lanterns we had multiple issues – let me tell you it’s not as easy as Tangled makes it look!  Then we took off as quickly as possible to the car to try to beat the traffic out of there.  Ari and I ran, while B carried Lelu on his shoulders (it was dark by then so she wasn’t as embarrassed) to get to the car and we did beat the traffic.

Needless to say, the Lantern Festival is a once in a lifetime bucket list check off adventure.
Master D took an eleven day trip to go visit Maddie in Italy while she was doing an internship there.  B had his User Group meeting in downtown SLC, where most of his customers come and learn the new things they have planned and have available.  It’s a few days with a lot of eating out and shmoozing.  This year they gave out awards like a play on the Oscars but called them Tazzies.  They had this photo projected up on the screen most of time.  It made me laugh every time I walked past. I thought this looked cool…it’s the Tazworks logo projected onto the lobby carpet of the hotel.  And then May was over and school was out….
