Jake is very good at spoiling Lelu, which is great because she LOVES birthdays, especially her own birthday. Her friends Grant and Savannah got married on her birthday and she was a bridesmaid for Savannah so she was busy with that stuff, plus Jake set up a weekend in Park City. We were leaving for Montana (more on that later) so we celebrated with her on the Sunday before her birthday. We went on a nice hike up by the temple and then I made her favorite Michele’s Lime tacos and Swedish wedding cake.

Jake also bought her very favorite purse she’s been looking at for a very long time (although she’s too afraid to use it for everyday).

Twenty-three Observations about Lelu

1. She makes sure everything is always clean
2. She is the first to help even when someone doesn’t  ask
3. She protects her dog like it’s her child
4. She forgives and forgets
5. She is the most awkward but amazing dancer
6. She always makes sure she’s the best dressed
7. She likes to send TT memes
8. She hates tiktok but watches tiktoks on instagram
9. She loves neutral tones.
10. She fiercely defends her loved ones.
11. She works to make sure everyone is happy.
12. She apologizes quickly and forgives quickly. 
13. She doesn’t snack.
14. She can scrounge up a tasty meal with very few ingredients.
15. She can actually get somewhat of a tan.
16. She has a great eye for design.
17. She has a very keen intuition.
18. She works very hard.
19. She is very photogenic
20. She supports everyone in what they do
21. She can be very stubborn
22. She knows exactly what she likes and does not like
23. She loves holiday movies

2015: Lelu was definitely the most accurate on her prediction – if there wasn’t a pandemic there would have been a few fun travels for Lelu and Jake.

2020:

In 5 years I want to be pregnant with my second baby, living in a happy (& beautifully decorated) home with Jake. In between being a stay-at-home mom, I’ll be getting paid to help other people make their homes beautiful too. By then I’ll have visited Japan, Australia and Europe with Jake.
