Inversion Distraction

This years’ week of Valentine’s Day, instead of sweetheart dances, surgery, soccer tournaments and visiting B’s mom in the sunset of her life, we had the super inversion move in – BUT

Thank heavens for weddings and homecomings!  (and photos I can steal off instagram) Kamala got home from Montreal Canada mission, Brenna got married to her high school sweetheart and Kamala gave an amazing homecoming talk, which brought Dave, Michele and the boys to town – and sadly not Mel and Drew who were true victims of the inversion not being able to land in Provo.  It was also very nice to have my B here to spoil me.  We played some fun games of banana grams and ticket to ride (so fun to have Christian as my partner – he is so darn smart and cute!) in between the festivities, while Ari and TT were in charge of the boys.  Remember that these boys and Michele are Ari’s disneyland?  She was in heaven! Oh yeah and Lelu went brunette.IMG_3661IMG_3660  IMG_3670IMG_3646IMG_3657IMG_3667 IMG_3645There was a lot of wrestling going on and Lelu’s friend Jake was a really good sport about it all.

Hopefully there will be some more family events really soon!

  1. It really was a great weekend! It was awesome to have so many here. It really meant a lot to us. And I agree…I hope we have some more family events coming soon.

  2. I’m happy for Brenna & Jake and for Kamala returning home safely, but I’m still having a little trouble suppressing the anger and disappointment that I missed it all!
I was also looking forward to staying with you, Kristin, and getting to spend a little time with your family (and Dave & Michele).
I enjoy your pictures and blog!

  3. It was a great week – worth returning to Utah! These are the kinds of events that warm a grandmother’s heart! My only regret is that my energy and stamina are slowing me down from being fully engaged all the time. Love all the grandkids!!! Wish I had more one on one with each!
