I Would Knock Wood Except That We Made It Happen – 80th Birthdays!

In order to keep up with the speed of light – can we fit it all in? – summer of 2016 the Sorensons, including all nine siblings and spouses were able to find a day to celebrate the amazingness of both of our parents turning 80 this year.  We had dinner together at La Jolla Gardens in Provo, paid tribute to both of them sharing memories and lessons we learned, shed a few tears and were able to get some photos taken. Surprisingly no songs except for Happy Birthday were sung.  I am so grateful that it worked out that everyone (except of course most of the many grandkids and great-grandkids) were able to make it to UT.  All of my kids were home so we took the opportunity to take family photos too.   img_9172-1img_9181 Aub and Master D took a few selfiesimg_9213I love Dave’s height in the photo bomb – white boys can jump!img_9246_2We had a little fun going with Dave and Shel and the boys hiking to Bridal Veil falls and they were quite daring crazy to soak themselves in the freezing cold water.

  2. Thank you! Thank you! for that fun evening and short weekend with all of you. I’m glad you are getting photos because I am totally out of that field, really a slacker, but thanks you my generous, on the ball kids, we get some good photos for fond memories,
