TT #95 goes in for the tackle! He was on fire during the game yesterday, glad I took my camera.
Of course, Ari, little miss monkey, is on the back of Leo the Lion – and there were two of the REal players that came and helped with a soccer clinic this week. I would be impressed if I actually followed soccer.
Our Saturday was busy.I took some amazing photos yesterday and when I loaded them on my computer they disappeared…this is what happens when I get a little cocky learning.
Protected at her first (without mom, Dave I know you’ll be proud) concert by four (one not pictured) big brothers while her big brother can’t be there.
A month ago I bought four tickets to go to the Big A$$ concert – featuring Imagine Dragons, Neon Trees, Awol Nation and The Wombats, all of whom I wanted to see. But Mom duty calls and with a 1:00 pm start time, a soccer game and football game, I gave up my ticket so Lelu could have four bodyguards.
Dave told me once when I bought Master D two tickets to Matchbox 20 & Alanis Morrisette, with one for me and one for him, that it was cruel and unusual punishment for 15 year olds to go to concerts with their mother. I ignored him because my desire to go hear live music outweighed my desire to not embarrass my children. This time my desire to support my kids in their sporting events just happened to create the ripple effect of my other child not having to be embarrassed by going to a concert with her mom. But I also am very aware of the dangers of the naughtiness of concert goers – in step the Zimm boys. I believe I created a win/win situation. They had fun, Lelu was safe, the twins still love me and I will look forward to another chance to shame my 15 year old.

My kids love to go to concerts with me. At least this is what I keep telling myself. And now they also love it when I go to their concerts. 😉
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!
We would absolutely go attend soccer games!

I don’t follow soccer either, but I do know that REAL Madrid is pretty cool in the soccer world, thanks to Kari spending the summer in Madrid. Porter has the “Real” soccer jersey, also thanks to Kari.
As for concerts with my kids, I don’t even recognize any of the names of those bands you just mentioned. I’m just not a “with it” mom where music is concerned. And, yeah, I don’t think my kids would be seen with me at a concert!
