We threw a bridal shower for Elisha on February 8th at my house. Her friend Rachel planned it and there were bouquet making activities in the basement. Cherie made her delicious sugar cookies. By the end of the day, I felt pretty rotten. I realized I had the same flu that my mom had in Arizona the week before. And then I passed it along to a few people at the shower. It was a bad one.

Master D and E took beautiful (frigid) bridals up in the canyon.

We were still pretty ill on Valentine’s Day so I don’t think we did anything at all. But the girls were the most adorable little lovebugs.

The day of the wedding was cold but beautiful and bright.

While we got ready in the bridal room, we ate fish tacos from Lone Star.
Jake officiated the wedding ceremony. He did a fantastic job. We all walked down the aisle to “Falling Slowly”.

The girls were THE MOST ADORABLE FLOWER GIRLS!!

We had a dinner directly following the ceremony with toasts by TT and E’s sister, plus us. I didn’t think the parents were doing toasts this time, for time management reasons. But then I was informed the night before that we were going to. I was very sad because I didn’t have enough time to do it right. But TT knocked it out of the park! His speech was absolutely perfect as he spoke for all the siblings.

Once the dinner was done, we moved into reception mode. Daddy daughter and mother son dance was followed by the couple’s first dance. Then cake cutting. E serenaded Master D with Adele’s “Feel My Love.” It was absolutely perfect. Then it was a dance party before they departed.
