B’s Day

My post for birthdays this year took me five months to come up with.  I mean I’ve been really behind on blogging but half my problem has been not deciding what to do for birthdays.  So what I finally settled on is I’m having them answer the following questions and I’m posting all the random snapshots not included in my blog for the last year:

What was your favorite experience last year?

Our trip to Scotland with the kids. It was the best European trip we’ve had even with the Griswald adventures of driving through the UK. I loved the whole thing.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I’m Settled: The business has grown to a point where I have good people working for me so that I only work a couple days a week so that I can enjoy my wife and family. The twins will be planning their high school graduations and college/mission plans as K and I plan our travels. We will be debating whether to keep our Draper home or just go back and forth between our cabin (which is built finally) for the summer and winter home in AZ or CA. I’ll be a grandfather (courtesy of Master D or Aub? because they’ll be married by then) – which will be an awesome thing to be and I will be totally involved in my grandkids lives and will spoil them rotten –  Maybe Lelu is just getting married as she graduates from college. I’m financially secure enough that I could retire if I wanted to. YOPD has been arrested and I am physically doing as well as I am today. I have plenty of time to mountain bike, hike, camp, ski, snowmobile, snowshoe and boat.

  1. He is a winner! I vote you keep him!! And hope his 5 year wish turns out exactly like he wants.

  2. What Clarissa said. We think he’s just great–as a husband, father and son-in-law.
