My really awesome friends threw Lelu quite the shower! We were so super grateful for Shyloh (who hosted), Cami, Pam and Cherie (and our good friend Cynthia;) Lelu truly felt the love…Everyone was extremely generous and kind; Shyloh made a slide show and a videoThe food was incredible…including Cherie’s delicious and beautiful cookies – that thank heavens she did not have to make 90 of them to put in bags, but rather display them and then brought a few extras over to us later – which Lelu scurried away back to school.  (she did leave me one)Lelu also had a fitting and picked up her dress the night before with a couple of her bridesmaids, Maddie & Miranda (I didn’t get a photo at the shower so I grabbed this one)Two more of her cute friends and bridesmaids: Becca & Kayla (whose mom hosted the shower)I love these girls so much and we don’t see enough of each other! It’s amazing the stuff we’ve been through over the years since our babies were actually babies.  Connie; Cherie; Christina & Amy (with Sherisse & Vanessa in the background and Aub’s fingers in the foreground)We absolutely loved having Gigi here – she is truly magical and can change any negative mood in our house into sheer joy. We all need a Gigi around.  It was so great that Aub came out from Portland and she especially had fun with Gigi too.
A big thanks to my many sisters (and nieces) who were able to make it to the shower!  Later that afternoon, the twins headed off to their winter formal.  Ari left first and TT is actually saying to her “Look at my cute little bumble baby dressed up and off to the dance”.  I love this dress….Ari & CollinTT went with his ‘friend’ Kenna….again. We met her at the door with a greeting crew: me, Aub, Michele, Gigi and Lelu all taking photos while her face turned red.
