All My Very Favorites in MT

4th of July week, 2022

This is our second annual fourth of July at the lakehouse in MT with all of the kids, Dave, Shel and kids. It is my absolute favorite time of the year! I know it’s a super long drive for the Arizonians and it’s a lot of coordinating at the airport for my kids and their schedules – but I hope everyone thinks it’s worth it! I could not be more grateful when it all comes together, everyone is healthy, happy, safe and loving being together.

Christian broke his arm a few days before they left, but that really didn’t stop him from doing much. Boating, surfing, boating, surfing…..

The are no photos and only a couple goofy videos of me doing goofy embarrassing things. You wouldn’t even know I exist without them. B likes to tell me that I’ve taught everyone to avoid taking photos of me – so I guess I made my own bed here and I can only prove my existence with awkward snaps.

So much fun just hanging out and playing on the dock

Jetskis!

Watching fireworks from the boat is truly magical

Jake, Taylor, TT and Kenna did a swim challenge over to the point. It’s probably about half of a mile – Lelu and Rel followed on the jetskis. I think it might end up being a yearly challenge? I was super impressed. I really have no business being on a lake since I am terrible swimmer – I am SO GLAD we have some good swimmers in our group.

There was a lot of corn hole games and zip lining for the littler kiddos

Paddle boarding..

Marshmallow roasting

Dinners together every night planned and prepared by different sets of adults – we ate waaaaayyyy too delicious and yummy food!!

We had some rain this year so there were arm wrestling tournaments, pull up competitions, hanging from and climbing underneath the staircase, watching movies and the finale of “Stranger Things”, rainbows and amazing sunsets.

Cinco was included in our fun this year. He was just lapping up all of the attention.

The night before the Sorensons left, we celebrated Christians 14th birthday with him. When it’s all over and everyone leaves, I am so sad, I wish they could stay all summer!
