Guess which hair belongs to whom….? There’s a myth that one Sunday evening this past fall TT ran over Lelu’s bare feet with the hoverboard and therefore owed her! and she may have chosen to use her hair talents to straighten his very curly hair and add extensions to his now smoothed and beautiful locks – and then we snapped a couple photos. We only need to add Aub’s hair.
I get snapchat photos like this quite often. I think I get snapchat photos more than any other communication these days. Thank heavens for the ability to screen shot – although I do accidentally push the buttons not simultaneously and miss out on quite a few. Does that require talent or is that considered techno-challenged or just plain challenged?
Cherie decided to drive up to Logan on a Friday and surprise her son Parker at his art exhibit/sale at Utah State and invited me to come along. Luckily the only thing I had going on that day got cancelled so I was free to road trip! We also checked in with her other son Chandler (and his friend Ash) as well as poor freezing to death Lelu (and her friend Grant), stuffed them all inside of her five seater car (lovingly referred to as the AARP) and took them all out to lunch. It was definitely one of the funnest spontaneous days I’ve had in a very loooong time! We’ve talked about doing this for the last six years since Master D was a freshman at Utah State and never made it happen…so this is a first. Thanks Cherie!

When we were black friday shopping, Lelu saw this really cute Santa cookie plate at Nordstrom and decided she could make one just as good. And she did! She went over to Color Me Mine, showed off her talent and creatively hand painted this super cute cookie plate! I want to keep it, but we haven’t put cookies out for Santa for a long time and she probably (hopefully) will be doing it sooner or more often than I ….at some point.
I went out to Northern CA with B for some testing at Stanford. Master D and Lelu traded off being in charge. Ari had a cheer competition, and like nice siblings they went to watch her show off her talent. TT was so thrilled to be there! He loves any kind of dancing, singing, acting, cheering….not – it’s all so INCREDIBLY boring to him that he’s positive he’s going to DIE! (if it is possible to die from boredom). So this was a big sacrifice that he voluntarily (mostly) made it there to watch her compete for the first time, putting his life on the line like that.
AND THEY WON FIRST! Now we get to go to Florida for Nationals in February. Hip hip hooray!?!
Master D has been busily filling out Master’s applications and he snapped this photo of the first time he’s able to answer this question in this way. It made my heart sing.
