This year in Powell, we parked the houseboat in this cool little cove.  The weather was perfect.  Never too hot.  B had to leave early to get Tallon home to try out for the superbowl, I mean peewee football.  What is the biggest bummer is that the biggest fans of Powell in our family is Tallon and Dhane.  We felt like we were kind of betraying D and TT wasn’t ready to go home.  I am pretty sure they would if they could spend the whole summer there.  We went with 3 great families: Belnaps, Englands and Ferrans.  4 teenage boys, 4 teenage girls, 5 little boys and 2 little girls, water, boats, jet skis, canoes, sand, fish, lizards, snakes and WAY TOO MUCH food.  I even braved tube wars (of course when you warn the teenagers pulling you that they’ll have to listen to 80’s music the whole way home if they hurt you it’s not nearly as dangerous. I only made them listen to one) don’t tell anyone but I thought it was the funnest thing I did the whole week.

TT caught this monster and guess what he learned? Their bites make you bleed.
