My 47th

What was your favorite memory of the last year?

Eating the best raspberries I’ve ever tasted after riding along the Great Glen Way in the cutest little town called Drumnodrochit, Scotland and then eating the best dinner in a charming little pub.  I recall a really amazing dessert too.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself graduated from the U with a bachelors in Philosophy and a masters in Bio-Ethics, deciding where to work or whether to move since the twins will be graduated from high school.  If I have grandchildren, which I hope I do by then, I will be spending as much time as possible playing with and spoiling them.  I will  be much better at living in the present.  B will be working less, either having sold his company or being semi-retired and we can travel when ever and where ever we want to go.

ok this was from last year's birthday but none were taken this year so here you go.

My good friend Cherie posted this collage on instagram and I figured it would do for the random snapshots - as I love having my photo taken and displaying it so much...NOT! It was a very nice tribute though

This was my gift this year - rent a puppy for 4 hours. master D thought he was hilarious - and for about 2 minutes I believed they'd bought another dog - they've been been begging and pleading to get another dog. And they haven't stopped begging a pleading.

  1. Our belated lunch was a fun time for me! Many more happy days ahead. You are really a young chick!!

  2. What a genuine pleasure it is to share your travels and your comments/descriptions on this blog. It’s almost as good as being there and participating physically. Unfortunately, I’ve gotten too old and unwieldy to share the bike trips, but I’m sure that Clarissa and I will make opportunities to go to those places we have never gone before, and share first/hand your wonderful adventures.
