We had plans to go to dinner with TT on his actual birthday at Benihanas (his favorite restaurant). He was going to come down from Logan but we had ‘the Rona’, were quarantined and he decided to stay in Logan. Lelu and I were also booked to fly down on Sunday the 8th to celebrate with Rel – but we couldn’t do that either. Kenna took good care of TT and Shel, Dave & her friends took care of Rel for their actual Birth Day.

Kenna drove up to Logan and decorated TT’s house (I ordered balloons from Zurchers and she picked them up), she made him breakfast and made him a picnic cake (I gave her the recipe) and I think she did better on the caramel frosting looking at the photo. Also, look at the row of cute polaroids of the two of them together taped up to the wall.

Rel took her friends out to eat (on us) at Cheesecake Factory. Then Michele decorated and made her favorite lasagna dinner and peanut butter cookies in a cake stack (she does not like any kind of cake at. all.)

We finally got to celebrate with each of them later. Lelu and I actually DROVE to AZ again to hang out with Ari once we were past the ‘Rona’ contagiousness and we obviously were because Ari still has not got Covid – even though she’s been tested 6 or 7 times. We all got our hairs colored and hung out. I don’t think I took a single photo that weekend though. Duh.

After we got back, we also went to dinner at Bennihana’s with TT, Kenna, Lelu, Jake, B, Master D and I a couple weeks later. Boy once you’ve had the virus – it’s sort of liberating in the sense that you aren’t worried about getting it anymore for awhile. I only took these two photos below. It’s a weird year and sadly birthdays are affected too.
