The Big 18th Birthdays!

I took this photo the morning of their birthday. I’ll be honest, I’m not loving the stache – but it’s no shave “Mo-Vember” so what can I say really. I don’t think any parent is prepared for their baby/ies to turn 18 but when it is your youngest ones turning 18 it is a special kind of suffering. I guess I should have had 6 or 7 kids so we’d have more time of our lives with kids in the house.

Ah well, they are very handsome (stache-less) and beautiful adult twins that I am very proud of. They love each other when we take them on vacation alone so we know they must truly love each other.

Ari’s choice was to go to the Grand America Brunch and TT’s was to go to Benihanas. So we went to Brunch on Sunday and Benihanas on their actual birthday. this one is at brunch. I thought we (me and B) were in a photo but I can’t find it.

And now Benihanas with Kenna too.

After dinner we went back home and some of Ari’s friends came over for dessert. I had ordered chocolate banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery in New York for Ari and made a picnic cake for TT. Veronica surprised them and made them this traditional Mexican dessert with their faces on it. There were also two boxes of crumbl cookies left on the doorstep from the YW and YM. We were well supplied with celebratory treats.

TT had a bit of a struggle getting all of his candles blown out. And then Kenna hit it out of the park with the best and most thoughtful gift for TT
