September 2023 – Ed, Bridals and Shower

In other news, Master D moved back to Utah in August. He got hired by Angel Studios as a project manager and left Los Angeles behind.

Oh how I love the age of 4 mos. They are so smiley, so giggly, so vocal and so ridiculously cute!

Over a year ago, I bought tickets to a very long awaited Ed Sheeran concert in LA. I’d been watching for about 5 years to get tickets. Lelu really wanted to go with me, so we booked a round trip flight for less than 24 hours, she packed up her breast pump and we headed to LA. I forced her to go to Titos, even though our kids do not appreciate Titos like B and I do. She got a new piercing (that sadly, one of the babies pulled out within 2 weeks) and we went to the concert. This stadium holds 84,000 people and it was sold out. The roof is see through and airplanes landing at LAX regularly fly right over the top of it. And ED DID NOT DISAPPOINT! He’s a true musician. There was a mom and daughter right across the aisle from us that I’m pretty sure were in their 60’s and 80’s and I told Lelu that was my dream to still be rocking out at concerts well into my 80’s and hopefully my daughters will still be my concert buddies.

TT & Kenna took their breathtaking bridals….

And then we hosted a shower for them.

B’s back is getting progressively worse. He’s either on crutches or in a wheelchair most the time so we’ve scheduled the more aggressive fusion surgery for November.

After dragging our feet for the entire summer to actually list our house for sale, I just couldn’t do it. The new house is too small for everyone to stay for the wedding or for any event really and I LOVE Somerset – it’s home to me. We never could have renovated it while living there and it desperately needed to be done – so I told the realtor we wouldn’t be selling. I was honestly quite embarrassed to change my mind, but I knew I’d regret it more if we sold it. Thank heavens B agreed and we started ANOTHER remodel. And I can change every single thing I’ve wanted to change for the last 16 years.
