August 31st to Sept 2nd
Football season has started and we couldn’t leave to go visit Aub until Saturday after the football game on Friday night. B and I are trying to make it to every home game this fall to watch Ari cheer her senior year. I didn’t make it on this night (migraine ugg!) but Lelu and Jake came to support. Corner Canyon is killing it and is undefeated. They hang these banners of each senior cheerleader and the football players outside of the games. I was in charge of getting the photographer and setting it up and getting it done. Pretty proud of how cute they all looked.

This was the photo she wanted to use. There are some football players she was mimicking. It would have caused a bit of drama I’m afraid.

Here’s her competition team.

On Saturday morning me, B and the twins left for Portland to go visit Aub and Archie. For the first time ever, the roses were in bloom so we visited the Portland Rose Garden and we all (including Archie) fit in her mini cooper driving there. I think we may have looked liked clowns stuffed in a car. The twins also downloaded an app for riding electric scooters around town – and had a homeless man throw a potato at them as they were going by. We were walking behind and I thought B might throw out some jui jitsu moves on him telling the guy he didn’t appreciate him throwing things at our kids. Apparently there’s some tension between the homeless community and electric scooter riders in Portland. I took waaayy too many photos of roses and sunsets and not enough of my family. But here ya go

Archie is getting too big for my lap. It’s very sad, because she loved to sit on my lap like a muppet.
